Lessons in the Wilderness

- Pride = blindspots. When you are proud you can’t see what is real.

- thing that are cheap and fast are nearly always meaningless

- my strength can accomplish 0% of the will of God

- my failures have no bearing on my identity

- I can’t earn anything from God ever

- love never fails but is always very costly

- sincerity is incredibly valuable and purchased with blood sweat and tears

- when i begin to feel wise that is evidence i am beginning to become deceived

One Response to “Lessons in the Wilderness”

  1. awesome post, Rob. love the “i can’t earn anything from God ever.”

I was recently studying Acts 4. Talked about how “great grace” was upon the church, which empowered them to testify boldly and created so much generosity around them that there were no poor people within the church.

So, I was looking for the clause in the text, the “If: Then”

Basically, I was trying to figure out HOW to get grace, when BY DEFINITION, Grace is a gift that you do not deserve.
